H.R. 1694, the Fairness to Veterans for Infrastructure Investment Act, passed the House today thanks to Rep. Mike Fitzpatrick’s (R-PA) sponsorship of the bill. H.R. 1694 improves contracting opportunities for veteran owned small business concerns. The bill was also co-sponsored by Reps. Pete King (R-NY), Chris Collins (R-NY), and Jeff Fortenberry (R-NE).
H.R. 3114 passed the House today thanks to Rep. Rodney Davis (R-IL) co-sponsorship of the bill. This bill funds Army Corps of Engineers to hire veterans and members of the Armed Forces to assist with curation and historic preservation activities.
H.R. 511, the Tribal Labor Sovereignty Act, passed the House today thanks to 10 Main Street members who co-sponsored the bill. H.R. 511 clarifies the rights of Indians and Indian tribes on Indian lands.
